What to expect

Immerse yourself in the history, art, and spirituality of St. Peter’s Basilica with our exclusive guided tour, starting in the iconic St. Peter’s Square, where Bernini’s grand colonnades will welcome you with their timeless elegance.

On this unforgettable Vatican tour, your expert guide will unveil the secrets of this architectural masterpiece, constructed over more than a century by legendary artists such as Bramante, Michelangelo, and Bernini. The visit begins with access to the Vatican Grottoes, home to the tomb of Pope Benedict XVI, located where Pope John Paul II was once buried before his remains were moved to the Chapel of St. Sebastian following his beatification. You'll also discover the tombs of the Apostles Peter and Paul.

Marvel at the grandeur of Michelangelo’s dome, the intricate mosaics that resemble frescoes, and the magnificent Bernini’s Baldachin, one of the greatest examples of Baroque art.

Continue to the majestic Monument to Pope Alexander VII, featuring the symbolic figure of Death holding an hourglass; admire the powerful presence of Michelangelo’s Pietà, where emotion is carved into every curve of the marble; and see the famous Statue of St. Peter by Arnolfo di Cambio, whose foot is worn smooth by the touch of countless pilgrims.

In the 2025 Jubilee Year, you’ll also have the unique opportunity to walk through the Holy Door, a once-in-a-lifetime spiritual experience for both pilgrims and visitors.

This tour is ideal for those who want a deeper understanding of the Vatican, with rich historical insights and exclusive access to sacred spaces.
